I bought this Lindt Fioretto Marzipan on my recent trip to Switzerland. It came out of a bulk bin set-up; the only Lindt product that wasn’t a Lindor truffle.
The tuft of pink foil wrapper contained a lumpy mound of marzipan topped with rice crisps and covered in milk chocolate. The softly grainy marzipan had a strongly winey flavor with an undertone of nuttiness that finished with a boozy alcohol hit.
The chocolate was mild, while the rice was crispy and slightly toasty, but the overwhelming flavor was that of the boozy marzipan. I enjoyed the treat, but I like Lindor truffles better. An O.
