Durg University, now known as either Hemchand Yadav University or Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidyalaya, is situated in Chhattisgarh, India. In 2015, it was a bifurcation of the existing Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur.

Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU)

It is also the oldest and largest state university in Chhattisgarh. It should be noted that the Government of Madhya Pradesh established it in 1964.
