We all know that Halloween is coming, but did you know about the Mexican holiday that follows it? Really, it’s more correct to say that the?Day of the Dead?precedes Halloween…

The Day of the Dead is all about celebrating the memories of loved ones who have died. It involves lots of skeletons and skulls for decorations, including skulls made out of sugar.

The folks at Zulka sent me the above bag of cane sugar and a skull mold so that I could try my hand at making a sugar skull. He’s still drying out, so I can’t decorate him yet.

If you’d like the chance to make your own sugar skull, you’re in luck!?Zulka’s letting me give away another sugar skull making kit. One lucky, randomly selected reader will get a 4lb bag of Zulka sugar and a skull mold.

To enter, leave a comment about your favorite Halloween tradition. Contest closes at 11:59 PM EST next Friday, October 25th. U.S. readers only. Good luck!
