Steps to Download Ration Card Online
Each state has an official website for their PDS. It is possible to download your ration card from the website of the state in which you reside. If you find that you are in need, download ration card by following the steps mentioned below.Â
Step 1. Visit the official PDS website of your state
Step 2. Scan the homepage of this website to find ration card related services
Step 3. All services offered by the PDS are mentioned below this section of the homepageÂ
Step 4. Select the “Print Ration Card†button from the available options
Step 5. Key out relevant information in the empty columns that are provided in the following pages
Step 6. You will also need to fill out your old ration number or application number
Step 7. The information you provide will be verified following which you will be redirected to your ration card

In the event that you have misplaced your ration card or can’t recall the ration card number issued to you, you will need to search for the card issued to you with some of the information you hold. Follow the steps mentioned below to do the same.
Step 1. Visit your state’s official website for its public distribution system
Step 2. Select the ration card related services section
Step 3. Select the “Search Ration Card†from the options made available
Step 4. Key out the details that are asked of you on the following page.
Step 5. These details relate to the following areas.
- Name of the head of your family (or HOF)
- Your HOFs Aadhar numberÂ
- Year of birth of HOF
- The mobile number provided in the National Food Security (or NFS) application or the one that was registered on the NFS website.
Step 6. Select the ‘Submit’ button at the end of the page
Step 7. You will be redirected to a new page that features the details pertaining to your ration card.
Make a note of these details and follow the aforementioned procedure in order to download a copy of your ration card.
By showing this duplicate copy of your ration card, you can collect a new ration card from a MeeSeva office. This copy may also be used to apply for any government exams.
Steps to Print Your Ration Card
Step 1. If you wish to store a printed version of your ration card, you must first follow the steps mentioned above to download ration card assigned to you
Step 2. Select the pdf version of your ration card and press the print button
Step 3. You can also use your keyboard to select the “CTRL+P†buttons to gain access to a physical copy of your ration card
