Industrial Electrician

An industrial electrician specialises in electrical equipment in an industrial setting. They usually work in factories or manufacturing plants and mines. They also require intensive training to be able to know how to handle the complicated equipment use according to a specific industry. Most electricians that work in an industrial set-up have experiences in pneumatic, hydraulic, and other operative mechanisms. 

Highways Systems Electrician

This specific type of electrician undergoes specialised training specifically for installing and maintaining electrical road systems. They have to ensure that the transportation systems are safe and sustainable to the public. Most of their work involves maintaining traffic lights and roadway lighting systems. They usually coordinate with the IT personnel as the IT is responsible for monitoring which electrical work that needs to be solved.

Electrical Instrumentation Technician

The role of an electrical instrumentation technician is to do calibration of measuring instruments, controlling devices and sensors, as well as perform work-related to specific equipment, such as refrigeration or air conditioning issues. They make tests, diagnose, and repair issues of these devices. They are typically responsible for performing product evaluations in compliance with the government’s approved specifications before its release to the market.

Master Electricians

A master electrician is a highly skilled professional electrician that works in a supervisory role. They are usually the ones responsible for overseeing the team of electricians in a particular project. Aside from possessing managerial skills, they are well-versed and experienced in all types of electrical systems.

There are other specialised fields of electrical work. However, the ones mentioned in the list are the most common. It helps you give an idea of what specific electrician you should hire.
