The New James Harden Candy – Trolli Sour Brite Sneaks [Review]
He’s back with another signature candy – James Harden.
I reviewed his Trolli Weird Beards about a year ago. That was the first candy in his partnership with Trolli – something I’m supremely jealous of. Not only is James Harden great at basketball, but now he ges his own brand of candy? What a life.
With his newest release, the Trolli Sour Brite Sneaks, he does a bit of shameless self-promotion. He’s a got a new shoe with adidas, so his candy is shoe-shaped. Not are they shoe-shaped, but they come in different “colorways” that mimick his signature shoe.
The “sneaks” have the classic Trolli two-tone, and of course are covered in sugar.
Trolli Sneaks Flavors?
They come in 3 flavors too – they are as follows:
- Lime-Raspberry
- Lemon-Berry Punch
- Strawberry-Blackberry
Fun and colorful flavors to honor a full and colorful guy. How do they taste though? Overall, they’re pretty solid. Strawberry-Blackberry is the flavor that pops out at you immediately, right? Well, it’s also the best one in the bag. The other ones are good too, if not a little generic tasting considering the flavor-combos.
I prefer the size of the Sneaks to the Weird Beards too. The Weird Beards were oddly big. Though the Sneaks are still large for gummy-purposes, they are much easier to eat. The bag didn’t come with too many, so finishing these were no problem.
The conclusion?
Better than Weird Beards – still not elite!
One thing is for sure, this candy puts James Harden in the pantheon of great sweet tooth athletes. He’s still got a ways to go in order to catch the great Marshawn Lynch, but this candy proves that James Harden loves sour. And for that, I love him.
