Embedding photos from Flickr’s new layout

April 5th, 2014 by Rosa

I logged on to do some blogging today and found myself totally turned around by Flickr’s new layout. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to embed my photos (get the image file’s URL), so I thought I’d put together a quick post to save others some time.

When you click on your photos, you’ll be taken to a lightbox layout. From there, click on the three dots on the right side of the screen to open up the More Actions dialog.

In that menu, click Download/All sizes. That will open up a new dialog box. From here, don’t left click anything. Instead, right click on the image size you want to open up the familiar dialog box that will give you the option to Copy Link Address.

Ta da! Back in blogging business.
