Merci Chocolate Giveaway
December 4th, 2012 by Rosa
I reviewed Merci Chocolates about four years ago, back in 2008 (also, whoa, I’ve been writing this blog for that long?). This year, they contacted me about running a giveaway for a free box of their chocolates for their “Share the Joy of Thank You” holiday promotion.
Merci wants people to think about what they’re thankful for this holiday season, so to enter this giveway, leave a post sharing who you’d like to give a meaningful “thank you” to this holiday season, and why.
I will randomly select one winner to receive a free box of Merci chocolates, so you’ll also get to be thankful for that! Contest closes at 11:59 PM EST on December 15th. U.S. readers only, please, and make sure to leave a valid email address in the mail field (I’ll only use them to contact the winner).

I would thank my parents for sending me to Rome to study for the past four months. It has truly given me a different perspective on life being over here with no television or car or fast food. Now I can go back home and appreciate the small things, like eating slow meals with good conversation or finding peanut butter in the grocery store!

I am thankful for my family. They drive me crazy most of the time, but with some health troubles over the past few years, I am grateful that they are in my life!

My son. Mostly because he always brings me back to center when I go off on a tangent. The voice of reason you really need every once and while.

I’d take it to the locker room staff of our gym. The employees work very hard all year round and hardly get any appreciation from what I’ve seen. They would deserve it!

I’d like to thank my high school music teacher. She was constantly smiling and always had time for her kids. She believed in me even when I wasn’t very good at the clarinet. I can’t thank her, though, because she passed this week due to a 7-year battle with cancer. So, I’ll thank her husband instead. He’s a music teacher, too.

I would thank my sister, who has been taking care of me for the last few years while I’ve been too sick to work. She works very hard and deserves more than a thank you/
