Twix Coconut – Updated with Giveaway!

Twix Coconut is the newest limited edition offering from the folks at Mars. It’s comprised of “creamy milk chocolate, crunchy cookie, [and] coconut flavored caramel.”
Mine came as a free sample in a press pack inside a plastic coconut and with a tiny USB that I first thought was a fun-sized regular Twix bar. Hooray for fun candy swag!
The Twix Coconut didn’t look or smell any different from a regular Twix bar. The chocolate and cookie were the usual Twix fare, mildly sweet for the former and pleasantly dry, crunchy, and buttery for the latter.
The caramel was where the difference lay. It had overtones of artificial coconuttiness. The flavor was nicely floral and nutty, but it tasted rather fake – more sunscreen than actual coconut.
I enjoyed the combination of the biscuit and the chewy, sweet, nutty caramel, but it wasn’t quite genuinely nutty enough to push it to the next level. I’m glad that I got to try this, but Twix Java is still my favorite twist on Twix. An O.

not exactly original, but i think a dark chocolate + sea salt twix would be awesome.

my mother-in-law is visiting and she looooovvves coconut. this would be a nice treat for her. i always wanted to try the java flavor-it gets such good reviews-but i can never find it.

I’d like to try Twix Mint, which was a limited edition in the UK in 2001, but I love coconut too!

I haven’t tried the coconut twix but it sounds intriguing. I’m looking forward to trying it though I anticipate real coconut would have been better!!! For now I’m a fan of the original.

My fave is Twix Java since I haven’t tried Twix Coconut yet. I would love to see the following flavors: Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate or Salted Caramel.

My personal favorite has always been the peanut butter. I would like to see a Dark Chocolate variety with coconut creme and caramel. Their products are so delicious!

I’ absolutely love twix. I 2nd a hazelnut twix or orange cream. Wouldn’t mind seeing a cookies n cream like they had when I was little.

I haven’t tried the coconut ones yet, so I would love to taste them! I have had the Java, and they are very tasty, but they are the only Limited Edition flavor I’ve had.

Yummy….I think a toffee/hazelnut Twix would be great – the toffee would add a bit of a crunch – maybe they could make the cookie into a toffee cookie, and then layer with a hazelnut cream and of course, the caramel.
That would be absolutely delicious. I also agree on the sea salt and the white chocolate idea – all very good!

friend gave me a Twix Coconut. read the ingredients – no coconut. also, it says “product of russia”. weird, eh? oh well. chocolate is globally good, right?

The twix coconut is so amazing I have only had it once though and now I can’t find them any more whahhhhhahahahhaahhh send me one lol
