I could only think of one time I had chocolate truffles that were better than Godiva - Unfortunately they were a Japanese brand and wouldn't know where to find them again. They were a gift to my mom and of course I asked her if I could have them because they "weren't good for her" I will never forget how impeccable, rich and sophisticated the taste and texture were. They were certainly a luxury chocolate. The packaging alone made Godiva look like Sees candies. They were dark chocolate dusted with some other type of dark cocoa and the centers were the creamiest and finest I have ever had. I couldnt read the box because it was in Japanese, but if I could get my hands on them again I would. I normally try to treat my self to a truffle a day (if I'm given a box as a gift, not every day of course) but with these they were just about done in two days. They were spectacular, rich and delicious in every which way. It was truly an experience to eat them.
