Back at the beginning of the month, Live Science reported that excavators in Chaco Canyon, New Mexico found chocolate residue on shards of pottery, suggesting that ancient peoples had been drinking chocolate in the present-day U.S. as far back as ~1,000 years ago. Mmm…
That’s because, as well all know, chocolate has been one of the major food groups forever!
