21 is probably the last of the big birthdays. 25 passed for me without even realizing it.

The recipes sound really good, I'll have to give them a try. My "cocktails", usually consist of Guiness and Bass. Black and tan is about as fancy as I get.

There was a mint drink I had around Christmas last year that was awesome. It was something like:

2 parts Bailey's Mint
0.5 parts Goldschlagger
1 part godiva chocolate liqueur
2 parts half & half

not entirely sure about proportions, but it was great when my friend made it. Very potent. Happy Birthday in advance!

I have a late birthday, too (October 6), and was younger than most of my classmates. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate drinks, but I do know of some that taste like candy!

My personal favorite is Midori and Cranberry - so simple, so sweet, and it doesn't even taste like alcohol. I usually do an ounce or so of Midori over ice and top it with cranberry juice. This also works with lemonade, sour mix, Sprite...
